Soroptimist and Women for Women International have teamed up for Project Independence - a joint effort to help women survivors in war torn countries including: Bosnia, Afghanistan, and Rwanda. This is an annual cash award for women who provide the primary financial support for their families, and who are enrolled in or have been accepted to a vocational/skills training program or an undergraduate degree program. Applicants must demonstrate financial need, and cannot have already earned an undergraduate degree. Please contact us for application information!
